Intern Supervisor (Full Time - Year Round)

The Internship Supervisor is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the organization’s student placement program, including Therapeutic Recreation internships, practicums, and fieldwork experiences. This includes building and maintaining partnerships with colleges and universities, managing outreach and recruitment, interviewing and selecting students, and developing training curriculum based on the NCTRC internship guide and required competencies.

The Internship Supervisor is responsible for onboarding, teaching, supervising, and evaluating students throughout their placement, ensuring they are successfully prepared to support day trip and overnight programming while upholding Traveler safety, professional conduct, and organizational values. This role ensures overall compliance, documentation, and quality of the program while fostering an educational and supportive learning environment.

Overnight Program Coordinator (Full Time - Year Round)

The Overnight Program Coordinator is responsible for managing the operations of all year-round overnight trips for participants ages youth through adult. This includes program planning and development, Traveler engagement and onboarding, Trailblazer supervision and onboarding, administrative duties, program evaluation and improvement, and overall safety and compliance.

Overnight trips require strong logistical oversight, including lodging, transportation, meals, activity scheduling, medical/safety planning, and family communication before and during programs. The Overnight Program Coordinator ensures that all overnight programming runs smoothly, safely, and in alignment with organizational values, while supporting Trailblazers and Travelers in creating meaningful and inclusive travel experiences.

Lead Applications (Part Time - Seasonal)

Join our team and help lead Colorado-based Extended Day Travel Programs for neurodiverse Travelers. You'll support participants in a 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 ratio, ensuring safety and inclusivity while leading exciting travel experiences. Your role will also include day-of leadership tasks and effective communication to make every experience memorable and inclusive. Our Summer programming runs from June to August, and training is required prior to the start of the program.
